David , a Runner?

Well David entered his first true running race. The fun run at John Cambell Elementary! He was so excited about it he could hardly handle it. The "big" day came and he got to run. He started out great and kind of lost his pace but as he was finishing all he could say was "mom, I wasn't even last!" I love that kid. Our good friend Maren ran too! She got first. Place for girls in the first grade. David was very happy for her!
